I was given the wonderful opportunity to try the Hair Therapy Wrap and I am so glad that I did. Rarely, did I deep condition my hair and because of this, it lacked luster and shine. When I was younger, I attended beauty school to become a manicurist and when I was a student there, my hair had a very dry, dull appearance and barely had any shine to it at all. One of the students looked at my hair and told me that my hair needed a deep conditioning treatment. At the time, I did not believe that was what my hair really needed, but now I believe that she was telling me the truth.
I never liked the thought of deep conditioning my hair, because I felt to do so, I would have to sit under a stationary hair dryer to allow the conditioning treatment to penetrate my hair and since I did not own a bonnet dryer, I could not deep condition my hair very often at all. After using the Hair Therapy Wrap, I can now say that I love to deep condition my hair.
The Hair Therapy Wrap has special gel packs that release heat into the thermal turban when it is warmed up in a microwave for about 20 seconds or by placing the gel packs in boiling water and then re-inserting the gel packs into their designated compartments inside the Hair Therapy Wrap.
The Hair Therapy Wrap Cordless Thermal Turban is made from 100% cotton material, comes in three colors- brown, black, white, and it has a tail end that you can twist up in the back and is secured on the top with self sticking Velcro. Also included are two plastic caps, a bottle of deep conditioner, and full written instructions.

Michelle sent me one of the wraps to try and I’m really glad she did because I’d been think ing about buy ing one for a few months. I use this with my John Mas ters Organ ics Laven der & Avo cado Inten sive Con di tioner or Weleda Rose mary Hair Oil (see below). First I put the conditioner/oil on, put on a shower cap, put the entire ther apy wrap (it has microwave able heat pads inside) in the microwave for a minute or two, and then pop it on my head over the shower cap. It’s a bit heavy for my head (they’re com ing out with lighter gel-packs soon), so I usu ally leave it on for about 20–40 min utes. It stays hot for a long time, which I like, and you can always re-microwave it if you think it’s not hot enough. I’m glad it’s not super-hot because I’m not a fan of any kind of heat dam age. ;D I love the results, it makes the con di tioner work that much bet ter. This is a must-have for sum mer, espe cially if you’re swim ming in hair-damaging chlo ri nated pools or the salty ocean.

Glow: The scent is fresh and spa like. The consistency is like a cold cream but so rich you don't need a lot. I used two small scoops and it was enough to cover my hair. The instructions say to leave on for 10 minutes. I left it on for an hour and a half! I used a heating cap (see above pic) for deep conditioning (and if you check back I'll be dishing more on this cap!) After rinsing first with warm water then with cool/cold (to seal the cuticles to promote shine!) water, I used my handy hair turban (EVERY glow girl must own one of these!) to get my hair semi-dry. I noticed my hair had more curl definition than I had in the past with other shampoo/conditioners.

I have seen ads for Hair Therapy Wraps before, and since I began using towels again, I thought maybe I could try these and see how the results turned out for conditioning and intensified treatments. The wonderful people at Hair Therapy Wrap sent me this item as a gift along with the comb I raved about yesterday and a conditioner. I was really excited to try this wrap, and in fact first used it on Friday evening. I used it on dry, previously styled hair to see if I felt a difference, and I did. My hair felt softened! I liked!

I have curly hair which is on the dry and frizzy side. In the past I have tried many tricks including wearing a winter hat over my hair while it had conditioner in it. I thought the heat it would produce would help penetrate my conditioner better. I told my hair dresser my trick and he said that hotter heat would be even better. He recommended a bubble drier to use with my conditioner. I did purchase one but found it inconvenient because I would have to stay in one spot under the drier for 30 minutes (who has time for that?!?). So I went on-line in search of a better solution, and came across your product! It is ingenious and makes perfect sense. One can have their cake and eat it too. It utilizes the heat theory AND one can walk around and do other things at the same time. And actually, moist heat is better than dry heat anyway. I also found, that with the bubble drier, my face would get red and dry from the heat blowing on it. I definitely see a difference in my hair and would recommend it to others.

I have so many people on my job who are transitioning from a perm to natural hair, are in need of deep treatments and are looking for products like yours to do their hair at home when they cannot get to the beauty salon. As a matter of fact, there are two women who are looking at me to draw strength from (I completed my transition from perm to natural hair in 2005) while they are going through their transition. I will tell them about the Hair Therapy Wrap because it will enhance their ability to do their own hot oil treatments at home. I love the item and prefer the Hair Therapy Wrap over any electric conditioning cap.
It is a wonderful invention. I will make sure that I tell them about it because they are having trouble with breakage and this would help them tremendously.

As for my hair cap ... I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! Deep conditioning is a staple in my hair care regimen and my heat cap is a part of it. I love it because it gives me the flexibility to move around and multi task, It's a requirement since I have two little ones. In my opinion it gives me the same result as sitting under a hooded dryer for a deep condition, my hair feels very moisturized. I get at least 30 minutes of warm heat before I put it back in the microwave to reheat. It was worth the purchase and I look forward to buying more.

I love it! This cap is easy to use and actually helps me to keep up a regular deep treatment schedule since I no longer have to drag up my hood hair dryer from the basement. I travel for business, so as an added bonus I can take this heat cap with me to keep up on my deep heat treatment while on the road.

Over the years I have premed, color and continue to over wash my hair. Lately I have been using a plastic shower cap with my favorite conditioner under a hot hair dyer for 10 minutes. Yes I can see the difference in my hair however it has become a drag to sit under a hair dryer for any length of time. I was surfing the web and I came across your product. The THERMAL TURBAN HEAT WRAP. I take great pride in my hair. All of my friends and associates has been noticing a big difference in my hair just by deep conditioning my hair. I must say that I absolutely LOVE this improved therapy cap. It is Wonderful and much better than the one that I had before.
So I did my normal conditioning and heated up my cap in the microwave. Trust me I am a frequent conditioner so I need a product that will heat up and work quickly. This did heat up in only 80 seconds.
This heating cap is much improved for a few reasons:
Even Heat, my electric heating caps provide uneven heat at best
Freedom! I have freedom to do chores, run down to the washing machine and the like with out being tethered to a cord.
Turban Style. Is MUCH better that the old style. This can wrap around the biggest heads!!!!

It was a pleasure to wear the Hair Therapy Wrap. I was able to go about my business at home without being attached to a hair dryer or electrical cord, yet maintaining and receiving better results than sitting under a hairdryer.
